#04 BSI Structural Analysis: Amelia Earhart

What this audit records
This public profile draws only on 9 matched records in the frozen FLUXARA-1 humanoid audit for Amelia Earhart. The visible timeline spans 1903–1980, with BSI values from 77.7% to 93.5% (mean 86.6%).
In this research frame, BSI describes the intensity of a biographical structural event; it is directionally agnostic. A high marker can therefore refer to crisis, breakthrough, institutional change, or durable legacy—not a moral judgement about the person or event. To learn more about how energy cycles impact individuals, read our analysis on what is a black swan person.
Tier distribution: Black Swan (BS): 5 events (56%); Shock Factor (SF): 4 events (44%).
The table below reproduces each verified event exactly as scored in the audit dataset. All events passed the four-gate evidence filter (Identity, Temporal, Source, Event Granularity) and received a [Matched] verification status. Rows marked by the source label as tolerance cases use the rubric's allowed ±1-year temporal window.
Verified BSI Trigger Timeline
| Year | BSI% | Tier | Label | Verified Event |
| 1903 | 91.0 | BS | Destructive Restructuring | In 1904: Amelia Earhart constructed a home-made ramp fashioned after a roller coaster on the roof of her family's tool shed, which resulted in the total destruction of her makeshift sled and left her with a bruised lip and a torn dress after her first flight. |
| 1912 | 92.4 | BS | Destructive Restructuring | In 1912: Amelia Earhart's maternal grandfather, Alfred Gideon Otis, a former judge and president of the Atchison Savings Bank who provided the foundational stability of her childhood home in Kansas, passed away, triggering a significant shift in her family's social and economic circumstances. |
| 1930 | 93.5 | BS | Destructive Restructuring | In 1930: Amelia Earhart experienced the death of her father, Samuel 'Edwin' Stanton Earhart, which marked a significant personal loss and a structural shift in her familial foundation. |
| 1939 | 80.9 | SF | Legacy Resonance (Moderate — SF) | In 1939: Following a petition by her husband George Putnam to waive the standard seven-year waiting period, Amelia Earhart was officially declared legally dead in absentia by a probate court in Los Angeles, allowing for the formal management of her estate. |
| 1950 | 89.8 | BS | Destructive Restructuring | In 1950: The death of George P. Putnam, Amelia Earhart's husband and the primary executor of her estate, forced a comprehensive restructuring of the legal and institutional management of her historical legacy. |
| 1953 | 87.6 | BS | Legacy Resonance (Major — BS) | In 1953, the Amelia Earhart Memorial was formally dedicated at North Park in Allegheny County, Pennsylvania, establishing a permanent physical site and scholarship program that institutionalized her legacy within the American public trust. |
| 1957 | 77.7 | SF | Legacy Resonance (Moderate — SF) | In 1958: The biographical work 'Daughter of the Sky' by Paul L. Briand, Jr., was prepared and finalized for its subsequent 1960 publication, marking a significant institutional effort to consolidate and amplify the historical legacy of Amelia Earhart. |
| 1975 | 85.3 | SF | Legacy Resonance (Moderate — SF) | In 1976, the television film Amelia Earhart, directed by George Schaefer and starring Susan Clark, was released, providing a major biographical dramatization of the aviator's life and marriage to G. P. Putnam. |
| 1980 | 81.6 | SF | Legacy Resonance (Moderate — SF) | In 1980: Joni Mitchell released the live album and concert video Shadows and Light, which featured archival footage of Amelia Earhart integrated into the performance of the song "Amelia." |
Structural Summary
Across 9 matched records, the peak BSI score of 93.5% occurs in 1930 (classified as Destructive Restructuring, BS-tier).
PZ/BS ratio: 5 of 9 matched records (56%). Mean BSI score: 86.6%.
Age-band distribution, calculated as audit year minus the frozen birth-year profile: before age 18: 2 records (22%); ages 18–64: 5 records (56%); age 65+: 2 records (22%).
Temporal tolerance use: 3 records (33%) use the rubric's allowed ±1-year window.
The dominant event classifications are: Destructive Restructuring (4); Legacy Resonance (Moderate — SF) (4); Legacy Resonance (Major — BS) (1).
Data: FLUXARA-1 Humanoid Biographical Audit (96.51% verified in-sample match rate, 1,466 matched / 1,519 in-sample events). Methodology: four-gate evidence filter per the BSI Semantic Rubric v1.0. Limitations & Structural Asymmetry (The 1,610 vs. 6,390 Problem): The current benchmark design exhibits a critical statistical constraint: it evaluates performance exclusively within the Alert-Tier Population (N = 1,610 years, where BSI ≥ 60%), achieving a 96.51% semantic match rate. While this validates the engine's Target-Event Precision, it does not define its Specificity or Type I Error Rate (False Positives) across the remaining ~6,390 non-alert background years within the audited 8,000+ year-pool. This asymmetry is primarily due to Information Omission Bias in public historical archives, where uneventful years lack structured validation data. Consequently, the 96.51% score must be interpreted as a measure of semantic consistency in crisis mapping, not as a complete proof of the engine's discrimination capacity. A stratified random-sample pilot to establish a validated True Negative baseline for the 6,390 background years is planned under our model risk management pipeline, but has not yet commenced.
