#17 BSI Structural Analysis: Marilyn Monroe

What this audit records
This public profile draws only on 9 matched records in the frozen FLUXARA-1 humanoid audit for Marilyn Monroe. The visible timeline spans 1932–2009, with BSI values from 78.2% to 95.5% (mean 86.2%).
In this research frame, BSI describes the intensity of a biographical structural event; it is directionally agnostic. A high marker can therefore refer to crisis, breakthrough, institutional change, or durable legacy—not a moral judgement about the person or event. To learn more about how energy cycles impact individuals, read our analysis on what is a black swan person.
Tier distribution: Black Swan (BS): 4 events (44%); Shock Factor (SF): 5 events (56%).
The table below reproduces each verified event exactly as scored in the audit dataset. All events passed the four-gate evidence filter (Identity, Temporal, Source, Event Granularity) and received a [Matched] verification status. Rows marked by the source label as tolerance cases use the rubric's allowed ±1-year temporal window.
Verified BSI Trigger Timeline
| Year | BSI% | Tier | Label | Verified Event |
| 1932 | 92.2 | BS | Destructive Restructuring | In 1933: Gladys Baker purchased a small house in Hollywood with a loan from the Home Owners' Loan Corporation and relocated her daughter, Marilyn Monroe, from the stable foster home of Albert and Ida Bolender in Hawthorne to this new, shared living environment. |
| 1941 | 95.5 | BS | Destructive Restructuring | In 1942: Norma Jeane Mortenson married James Dougherty at the age of 16, an event that permanently ended her childhood spent in foster homes and an orphanage, forcing a total restructuring of her social and legal reality. |
| 1950 | 79.7 | SF | Systemic Instability | In 1950: Marilyn Monroe transitioned from a freelance model to a recognized actress by securing notable supporting roles in Joseph Mankiewicz's Academy Award-nominated drama All About Eve and John Huston's film noir The Asphalt Jungle, effectively shifting her professional trajectory toward serious acting. |
| 1959 | 94.4 | BS | Destructive Restructuring | In 1959, Marilyn Monroe achieved the pinnacle of her professional career with the release of Billy Wilder’s motion picture Some Like It Hot, an event that simultaneously solidified her status as a global icon and permanently shattered her previous professional and personal operating baseline. |
| 1964 | 78.4 | SF | Legacy Resonance (Moderate — SF) | In 1964, the cultural legacy of Marilyn Monroe was significantly institutionalized when Andy Warhol's 'Shot Marilyns' series, based on a 1953 publicity photograph, became a focal point of art history following a performance art incident at Warhol's Factory studio. |
| 1968 | 78.2 | SF | Legacy Resonance (Moderate — SF) | In 1968, the public perception of Marilyn Monroe underwent a profound transformation as the release of documentary-style retrospectives and the emergence of investigative journalism reframed her death as a systemic failure of the Hollywood studio system, effectively launching the modern 'Marilyn-mania' and institutionalizing her image as a cultural martyr. |
| 1982 | 83.1 | SF | Legacy Resonance (Moderate — SF) | In 1982: Norman Mailer and his production team actively sought to cast a lead actress for the play Strawhead, ultimately encountering competition from Terry Johnson's play Insignificance, which featured Kate Fitzpatrick in the role of Marilyn Monroe. |
| 2004 | 87.1 | BS | Legacy Resonance (Major — BS) | In 2003: Matthew Smith published 'Victim: The Secret Tapes of Marilyn Monroe', a book that significantly amplified public conspiracy theories regarding the circumstances of Marilyn Monroe's death by alleging CIA involvement. |
| 2009 | 86.8 | SF | Legacy Resonance (Moderate — SF) | In 2009, Marilyn Monroe's image was featured in the Ford Focus 'Attraction' commercial, where a light graffiti figure transformed into her likeness to interact with the vehicle. |
Structural Summary
Across 9 matched records, the peak BSI score of 95.5% occurs in 1941 (classified as Destructive Restructuring, BS-tier).
PZ/BS ratio: 4 of 9 matched records (44%). Mean BSI score: 86.2%.
Age-band distribution, calculated as audit year minus the frozen birth-year profile: before age 18: 2 records (22%); ages 18–64: 5 records (56%); age 65+: 2 records (22%).
Temporal tolerance use: 3 records (33%) use the rubric's allowed ±1-year window.
The dominant event classifications are: Legacy Resonance (Moderate — SF) (4); Destructive Restructuring (3); Legacy Resonance (Major — BS) (1).
Data: FLUXARA-1 Humanoid Biographical Audit (96.51% verified in-sample match rate, 1,466 matched / 1,519 in-sample events). Methodology: four-gate evidence filter per the BSI Semantic Rubric v1.0. Limitations & Structural Asymmetry (The 1,610 vs. 6,390 Problem): The current benchmark design exhibits a critical statistical constraint: it evaluates performance exclusively within the Alert-Tier Population (N = 1,610 years, where BSI ≥ 60%), achieving a 96.51% semantic match rate. While this validates the engine's Target-Event Precision, it does not define its Specificity or Type I Error Rate (False Positives) across the remaining ~6,390 non-alert background years within the audited 8,000+ year-pool. This asymmetry is primarily due to Information Omission Bias in public historical archives, where uneventful years lack structured validation data. Consequently, the 96.51% score must be interpreted as a measure of semantic consistency in crisis mapping, not as a complete proof of the engine's discrimination capacity. A stratified random-sample pilot to establish a validated True Negative baseline for the 6,390 background years is planned under our model risk management pipeline, but has not yet commenced.
